Selvatiq Himalayan Gin — The Wild Spirit of the Himalayas

Introduction

Selvatiq Himalayan Gin is a premium gin that captures the extreme purity of the mountains, made with wild botanicals harvested above 3,500 meters in the Himalayas. Every sip transports you to a world where the air is thin, aromas are intense, and nature reigns supreme. Distributed exclusively in Italy by Velier.

Brand History, Vision & Mission

Selvatiq was founded with a bold idea: to craft gin exclusively with wild, uncultivated botanicals, handpicked from the most remote and untouched corners of the planet.

Established in 2019, the project gained momentum in 2024 when key figures like Giacomo Sandri and Marco Magnocavallo joined forces with Velier, combining expertise in spirits production with a passion for exploration and authenticity.

Selvatiq’s mission is twofold:

To offer consumers authentic taste experiences that reflect nature as a place, a story, and a character.

To protect the wild ecosystems from which the botanicals originate, supporting local communities who harvest these ingredients sustainably.

Why Selvatiq Himalayan Gin is Different

“We don’t cultivate our botanicals. We search for them in the most remote and untouched places on the planet, where nature still sets its own rules.”

Every Selvatiq gin is a journey in a bottle, a wild expression of territories where human hands have barely left a trace.

Selvatiq Himalayan Gin is much more than just a gin: it is born from extreme conditions. Juniperus Indica grows at high altitudes, in rarefied air, under intense sunlight, with dramatic temperature shifts and mineral-rich soils, giving its berries an exceptional and unique aromatic character.

Harvesting is done entirely by hand in late October, when the berries reach full maturity, by local Nepalese communities who respect the natural rhythms of the mountains.

Distilled using the London Dry method, Selvatiq Himalayan Gin delivers resinous juniper notes, citrusy freshness from Timur pepper, and smoky depth from black cardamom for a perfectly balanced and aromatic profile that captures the essence of the Himalayas in every sip.
